BTSC was represented by 17 athletes at the 2024 Winter Ontario Youth Junior Championships Feb. 15 - 18, 2024. The following BTSC swimmers competed at this Ontario championship meet: Sam Takacs, Vanessa Hunter, Maddy Scott-Nichols, Will McConachie, Tori Carlesimo, Noemi Blake, Eva Mankarios, Tyler Millar, Lilli Wilford, Scotty Sutton, Molly Robinson, Alex Ottodinoto, Shea Gillespie, Emma Jacques, Rocco De Oliveira, Harper Ferguson, and Daniel Carabello. Two Canadians took a step on the road to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as Swimming Canada hosted the first-ever Canadian Open Water Festival Saturday and Sunday in Welland, Ontario. BTSC's Laila Oravsky won the 10-kilometre race. The wins earns Laila a spot on Team Canada for the Doha 2024 World Aquatics Championships, which will serve as the final qualifier for Paris 2024. After an exciting Bell Canadian Swimming Trials for the Trojans, BTSC's Laila Oravsky and Jordi Vilchez have been selected to represent Canada at the 2023 World Junior Championships in Netanya, Israel!
